This soap is naturally scented with honey and oats, reminiscent of a simpler time. This soap cleanses gently, without stripping your skin of it's natural oils.
Oats and Honey Soap
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter, ground oats, honey.
All of our soaps are made from scratch, hand poured, and hand cut. No two bars are identical, and weight and shape varies slightly from bar to bar. The soaps have been cured for at least 4 weeks to ensure hard, long lasting bars. If kept well drained and in a proper soap dish between uses, the bars will hold up through several baths, showers, or hand washings!
Our handmade soap is made only with all natural oils, and the natural glycerin is retained in each bar. All soaps are palm-free and free of artificial foaming agents.
We make soap the old fashioned way, by combining natural oils with sodium hydroxide (a.k.a. lye). The lye reacts with the oils in a chemical reaction called saponification. Once saponification completes, the lye is gone, and all that is left is a rich, emollient soap!
